What we stand for In Our Practice

Rigour

James Webb Space Telescope Mirrors Undergoing Cryogenic Testing by NASA

• We provide advice that is evidence-based and built on sound management practice.
• We back it up with expertise that is relevant to a client's organisation and context.
• We advocate for a given path only after having thoroughly evaluated it.

Diligence

• We take care to understand the situation and the context under which a client organisation operates.
• We invite the contributions of all stakeholders in a client organisation on the very clear understanding that only those found sound will be utilised.
• We invest in preserving our expertise in our areas of practice.

Experience

• We use a wide lens to identify and to tackle complexity across line-of-business, function, and systems’ boundaries.
• We prioritise people over process, process over technology, and culture over power.
• We insist on having the senior leadership of the organisation sponsor and advocate difficult initiatives and protect the teams working on them.

Carlos has served in several industry leadership and governance roles; participated in business and government advisory boards; represented and advised his country at international negotiations; and has written widely and been interviewed about marketing, business, information technology, ethics, and governance.

His current professional interests are the structuring of organisations, assisting large ventures, the improvement of governance, and ensuring complexity remains constructive.
